About us
Tari Vets is the culmination of the dream of Dr Peter Tari and opened its doors in 2019. Dr Tari qualified in 2005 and after working across the United Kingdom he finally settled in Essex in 2016. He is committed to providing the most up-to-date service and understands the importance of building a relationship with the client, keeping them informed along the way about various options and their costs so there are no surprises. He is supported by an experienced team who have worked with him for the past seven years in his previous roles.
Within the practice we also offer separate areas for both cats and dogs to reduce any anxiety your pet may have on their visit. The mission of Tari Vets is to provide a 360 degree service under one roof – to ensure that the pet and the owner receive the best treatment with minimal stress.

Our independent veterinary practice is led by Peter Tari, with over 15 years experience as a veterinary surgeon in UK and Essex. We aim to provide compassionate and high quality continuity of care for all pets and helpful advice and support for their owners. Our care plan for your pets begins with you. We discuss your hopes, concerns and needs for your pets as well as for your family (including your budget). The staff at Tari Vets are all animal lovers and we aim to care for your pets as we care for our own.
Reception Area
We have designated waiting areas for dogs, cats and exotics.
We sell a range of food for cats and dogs including Hills and Natures menu. We also have a selection of pet toys and dog harnesses. Please speak to one of our staff if you have questions about your pets diet and we will be happy to assist you.
We accept first-opinion and referral cases
As well as our first-opinion service for dogs, cats and exotic species, we also offer referral services for the following:
