We are pleased to announce we have invested in new state-of-the-art equipment to improve our endoscopy services!

As well as rigid endoscopy, we now have a flexible endoscope which opens the doors to many more diagnostic and treatment options. These include:

• Arthroscopy - using endoscopy to visualise, diagnose and treat joint diseases

• Gastrointestinal tract disease - using flexible endoscopy to diagnose and treat chronic gut disease. Our new equipment will allow us to visualise disease, as well as take biopsies without the need of invasive laparotomy surgery

• Respiratory disease - we will now be able to use endoscopy to visualise the upper respiratory system, such as the nares and the trachea, to take samples, remove foreign bodies and perform lavage for more detailed diagnostics

• Urinary tract disease - procedures such as cystoscopy and urethroscopy may be used to diagnose and aid treatment of diseases of the lower urinary tract and the bladder
